Who I Am?

Hi, I’m Tony Long — a former Lexus top salesperson who decided to “graduate” from the showroom and start something more meaningful.

I studied Automotive Engineering in Germany and Engineering Management in Italy, before moving to Canada to complete my Master’s at NYIT Vancouver. I finished the two-year program in just two semesters with a 3.95 GPA — fast, focused, and efficient.

After graduation, I entered the automotive industry from the frontlines — not in manufacturing (which is limited in BC), but in car sales. I started with used cars, moved to American brands, and eventually joined one of the busiest and most professional dealerships I’ve ever worked with: OpenRoad Lexus Richmond.

In just the past year, I helped nearly 200 customers get their cars — each one with a unique story. Over time, I’ve advised and supported over a thousand clients through car buying decisions, price reviews, and product comparisons. These real, hands-on experiences gave me insight that few outside the dealership ever see.

Why I Started This

The car market is changing — prices are high, information is scattered, and many buyers feel overwhelmed or misled. After years of working in showrooms, I realized that what most people truly need isn’t a better deal — it’s better guidance.

That’s why I stepped away from dealership sales and started this platform: to offer honest, practical, and completely free car advice, from the perspective of someone who’s been on the inside.

This isn’t a business. It’s a mission. I now dedicate my time to helping people make smarter, safer car-buying decisions — sharing insider tips, analyzing quotes, comparing trims, and walking alongside buyers through the whole process.

Every month, I also offer in-depth, one-on-one help to a few people — guiding them step-by-step from research to test drive to final delivery.

Why Is It Free

This platform exists to share what I know — not to profit from it. I believe that everyone deserves honest, unbiased car advice, especially when buying a car is one of the biggest financial decisions many people make.

I currently offer this service as a volunteer, and we keep operating costs low. The site is supported through:
